Caring for Your Smile and Your Overall Well-Being
Holistic Dentistry, also known as biological or integrative dentistry, is an approach to dental care that considers the entire body, not just the teeth and gums. It focuses on the connection between oral health and overall wellness, ensuring that dental treatments support your body’s natural balance and health.
At GeDental Wellness, we believe that a healthy smile is a reflection of a healthy body. Dr. Montilla combines traditional dental practices with holistic principles to provide care that is both effective and mindful of your overall health.
Regular brushing, flossing, and professional cleanings help prevent plaque buildup, which can lead to cavities and gum disease.
Oral health is closely connected to your overall health. Poor dental hygiene can contribute to conditions like heart disease, diabetes, and respiratory infections. Taking care of your mouth is essential for your entire body’s well-being.
Routine dental check-ups allow for early detection of problems, such as tooth decay, gum disease, and oral cancer, ensuring timely treatment and better outcomes.
We take a comprehensive approach to dental care, addressing not only your oral health but also how it impacts your entire body. Our holistic services include:
Biocompatible Materials: We use safe, non-toxic materials for fillings, crowns, and other treatments to minimize any potential harm to your body.
Preventive Care: Emphasizing prevention through education, nutrition, and lifestyle choices to maintain optimal oral and overall health.
Orofacial Pain Management: Addressing jaw pain, TMJ disorders, and other conditions with a focus on natural and minimally invasive solutions.
Nutritional Guidance: Understanding the role of diet in oral health and providing recommendations to support both your smile and your body.
Mercury-Free Dentistry: Safely removing and replacing mercury amalgam fillings to reduce exposure to harmful substances.
Don’t wait to achieve the healthy, beautiful smile you deserve. Whether it’s routine care, cosmetic enhancements, or restorative treatments, our expert team is here for you. Schedule your appointment now and take the first step toward a brighter smile!
Use fluoride toothpaste to keep your teeth strong and free of decay.
Remove food particles and plaque from between your teeth to prevent gum disease.
Visit your dentist at least twice a year for cleanings and exams.
Limit sugary foods and beverages, which can contribute to tooth decay. Taking simple steps to maintain dental wellness can lead to a lifetime of healthy smiles and contribute to your overall health.
Your oral health is deeply connected to your overall health. Conditions like gum disease have been linked to systemic issues such as heart disease, diabetes, and inflammation. By choosing holistic dentistry, you’re investing in a approach that:
Prioritizes your long-term health and well-being.
Minimizes exposure to potentially harmful substances.
Treats the root cause of dental issues, not just the symptoms.
Supports your body’s natural healing processes.
GeDental Wellness refers to the overall health of your teeth, gums, and mouth. Maintaining good dental hygiene is crucial for preventing common issues like cavities, gum disease, and bad breath, as well as more serious health problems…
